Frank H. Peirce ’61
Frank Haber Peirce, 84, passed away October 17, 2024, in Pensacola, Florida. He was born November 29, 1939, to George and Viola Peirce of Smithtown, New York.
Frank graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 1961 and after a couple of years joined the United States Navy to learn to fly. He got his wings in 1966 here at Pensacola NAS and was on active duty for 20 years; after he retired the United States Military, he continued to work an additional 20 years at (PHI) Petroleum Helicopter Industry. After retirement he worked in the tax industry to help families all around Pensacola. He also was a faithful member at the Pensacola Beach Community Church and as a Senior Trustee was an integral part in helping rebuild after Hurricane Ivan in 2004.
He is preceded in death by his loving soulmate, Sharon Hull Peirce he is now joining in heaven.
Frank is survived by his son, George Hull Peirce (Beverly); daughter, Laura Roby; his grandsons, Ukaia, Jonah, and Tekoah Roby; sister in-law, Kathryn Hull; and his 3 nieces.
We will be having a private ceremony at Barrancas National Cemetery where we will lay him to rest. He was greatly loved and is already dearly missed.
