Michael F. Dionne ’81
BANGOR – Michael F. Dionne, 63, passed away peacefully on Feb. 8, 2022. Mike was born Oct. 14, 1958, the twin son of Charles and Ellen “Pinky” Dionne of Bangor.
Mike was predeceased by his parents and four brother: James “Biggie,” Charles, Joseph, and John “Beau.” Mike is survived by his twin brother, Mark and his wife, Diane; brothers, Timothy and Robert; three nephews, John Jeremy, and Joe; and two nieces, Kori and Nichole.
Mike was educated at St. Mary’s Catholic School and John Bapst Memorial High School, where he played on the 1976 State Champion football team. Mike furthered his education at Maine Maritime Academy, where he graduated with a degree in Engineering. He then shipped out to many ports around the world and would tell stories of his adventures.
Mike enjoyed many great times at the family camp on Beech Hill Pond and watching the high school basketball tournaments. Mike was an avid New England Patriots fan. Mike was a very jovial person who brought a smile to everyone around him. Mike will be deeply missed by many family and friends.
