Where has your career taken you since graduation?

What is your current title and what are your responsibilities?
I am the owner of a Safety Consulting and Elevator Inspection Company.
What piece of advice would you give to a student going into your field?
Always look forward. Accept new opportunities even if they at first seem daunting. Remember accountability, responsibility, and authority are closely related. To be successful accept all of these, no matter how minimal or major the challenge. Continue to advance professionally, and earn every possible designation related to your craft. In today’s world interpersonal skills are as important as technical ability.
How did the MMA experience prepare you for both your prior positions and your current career focus?
In my days at MMA we learned to be leaders, to be timely, to be prepared for the job at hand, and to welcome new challenges.
What are your goals for the future?
To continue in business, stay healthy, go skiing, ride the Harley till age 90.
