What is On Campus Recruiting

OCR is the avenue that companies use, generally in the spring semester, to visit campus and conduct interviews for student co-ops, internships, and employment opportunities. Companies are invited and hosted by Career Services.

Presentations are usually given at or around 1600 and generally run about an hour. These are usually very informative and a great way to learn about companies seeking our student’s skills.

Not all companies interview, but if they do, Career Services provides all of the arrangements. Students usually have to sign up on the online career center for interview times, dress appropriately, and bring a resume.

On Campus Recruiting jobs (OCR) are on the online career center for you to search. You must have a resume uploaded on the site to sign up for an interview.

The site and our office can provide help with this process. Please register and upload your resume and be prepared for your chance to interview!
