Ready to Get Underway
After nearly two weeks of preparation and training in port, cadets and staff aboard the TS Kennedy are ready to set sail from Galveston, Texas as part of Summer Sea Term 2025. Since arriving on May 5, the crew has been hard at work conducting drills, stowing supplies, and getting the ship ready for departure.
The TS Kennedy is scheduled to depart the Texas A&M campus dock at approximately 11:00 AM (CDT) on Sunday, May 18.
For those unable to attend in person, a livestream of the departure will begin at 9:45 AM.
