- 7:00 AM30mEl Faro CommemorationOn Wednesday morning, October 1, 2025, Maine Maritime Academy will conduct a Remembrance Ceremony on the 10th anniversary of the loss of the El Faro and her crew. The ceremony will begin at 0700 on Leavitt Lawn and will last approximately 30 minutes. The Regiment of Midshipmen, including the Regimental band and choir, will participate in the ceremony with remarks from Pastor Keenan Eaton, MMA class of 2015.
