On May 4th we hosted the NAC Championship game for Men’s Lacrosse. A rematch from 2023, against SUNY Delhi we came from behind and won 14-12. Winning the NAC, lead to a delay on our arrival to the ship, but a campus wide collaboration worked hard to ensure we had the opportunity to play in the NCAA tournament. It was a relief to know that we were able to continue our season without having to worry if this would affect our ability to cruise or not.
For the 3rd time in four years, we won the North Atlantic Conference Championship and waited to hear where we would play round one of the NCAA’s. Off to Nashua, New Hampshire to play Rivier we headed for the first round of the NCAA’s. It was a tough game which did not end the way we wanted but we never gave up.
On Friday at 0400 we boarded two vans to head to the airport. After a long day of travel, we made it to the T/S Kennedy in Galveston, where we are now ready to start our summer cruise. Although it is always disappointing to end a season with a loss, we were able to lift our spirits knowing that we have a great summer cruise ahead!
