The Ned Andrews Chapter will be having their Winter Meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings in Topsham Maine on Wednesday, January 22nd. Brett Plummer will be joining as our guest speaker to discuss the state of the nuclear power industry and the restart of the nuclear program at MMA. A little background about our speaker: Brett has nearly 50 years of nuclear power experience including managing, assessing, and operating nuclear power plants and the development and execution of large projects. He started his career in the US Navy on nuclear submarines and has held Senior Reactor Operator licenses at 2 different power plants. Brett has held significant responsibilities throughout his career including working at the Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company, Seabrook Station (NH), and New Brunswick Power (Canada) where he led as the Vice President of Nuclear and Chief Nuclear Officer. Brett is a wealth of knowledge and experience and has recently joined the MMA team to restart the nuclear program. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
