In January 23, 1942 by an Act of the Maine Legislature, the Normal School building became MMA property. Named after Senator Ralph A. Leavitt, the first appointed Chairman of the Board, Leavitt Hall was the original housing and dining facility. Today, Leavitt Hall is MMA's primary administration building. Offices include:
